• 40 years of experience in LNG, oil and gas business development, exploration and production in Southeast Asia and Africa with Penn America Energy, GDF SUEZ, Sarabi Petroleum, SUN Energy, Marathon, Unocal and ARCO International.
• Managing Director, Cameroon LNG, GDF SUEZ, resident in Yaoundé, Cameroon, and later London.
• Marathon’s Resident Director for EG LNG in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea. 
• For Unocal, Vice President Planning and Regional Development, Unocal ASEAN (Jakarta); Manager, Strategic Planning; Unocal Thailand (Bangkok).
• Project Manager, ARCO Indonesia (Jakarta).
• Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology: Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from University of Texas, Austin.
